  During our first meeting, I immediately felt her calm presence, allowing me the opportunity to open up during the session.  We started each session with a breathing or mindfulness exercise, which was a favorite part for me!  I also enjoyed being able to talk through all of my conflicting feelings.  She allowed me the space and time to do that and by the end of each session, we were able to identify some goals for the upcoming week. 

  I recently had the opportunity to work with Valerie to try to address some underlying health issues. While at the beginning I was unsure how she could help, my perspective quickly changed.   I have always been a pretty independent person and have been able to work through and persevere through any barriers that I have had in the past. These past few weeks I have been more overwhelmed with a singular issue that has bled into other things in my life. After coaching I feel more confident about my concerns.    Starting sessions with Valerie were very easy and she is very flexible. This has been a must in my chaotic life.  While this may not be important to others, this was the only way to be able to fit in these coaching sessions. Her flexibility reduced my stress in trying to do something better for myself. Often times, it usually feels like another task to complete or box to check and ends up being more work to try to “better” myself, but this was made easier and I did not feel this way each time I scheduled.  In fact, I was eager for each session.    In the beginning of these sessions my focus was a bit different and changed to something that was a bit more emotional for me.  We worked through my current concerns week by week. At the end of each session we would regroup and reflect on what the focus was. She gave me “homework” to help create habits that could encourage these behavior changes to work and to keep me on track. When I brought up my concerns for this emotional decision that I need to make she listened so intently and gave me the time that I needed to discuss. She helped me come up with a plan and make a time line to move forward with this decision without fear and regret.    I am so glad that we connected and I was able to engage with Valerie and would recommend her to others. She will be the cheerleader that you need when you have no one in your corner. 

  Val creates a warm safe space to explore subjects. She was able to support me as I created an action plan that would work for me and was excited when I had wins along the way.

   I loved the ability to of Val hold space and allow me to process and discover my values and truth. I liked the authentic and joyful exchange we had the most.  I achieved more mindfulness and a clearer direction for the future. One surprising result is me giving myself permission and allowing myself grace and time to self-care and make correct decisions in my life without the usual anxiety/fear motivating my decisions.  

 I recommend Val’s coaching to anyone who wants to feel safe and supported while embarking on their healing journey.  

 I felt comfortable with being authentic and she was never judgmental of my views. Val has a beautiful smile and a heart of gold.  Do not hesitate to work with Val, she is a gifted nurse coach. 

  A great workshop. We talked and connected. And talked a whole lot more in the days after. It was good to take time away from the hustle of everyday life, focus just on us and talk without all the distractions. It was great to reassure each other about our love. We learned things we didn't know about each other. A great tune up for our six-year marriage!
